INSURANCE AND HEALTH
Before you leave, you should buy an annual insurance policy. It is cheaper to buy this before you travel and we can recommend that you visit your local STA travel office in your home country. Your insurance policy should protect you from costly emergencies, repatriation and legal assistance.
STA Travel Link A European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) entitles you to reduced-cost, sometimes free, medical treatment if you are from an EEA country. The card is free but must be obtained before travel.
